THE team behind the Black Country Festival have scooped a national award in recognition of their bostin’ community campaign.
Dudley Council was voted winner in the Community Engagement Campaign of the Year category in the 2015 PRmoment Awards.
Councillor Pete Lowe, leader of the council, announced on Twitter: “We have only gone and won Community Campaign of the Year...Black Country Festival! Bostin!”

New chief executive Sarah Norman also Tweeted: “Well done to everyone who made it happen.”
The awards celebrate excellence and recognise and reward outstanding campaigns and exceptional talent in the UK PR and Communications sector and the winners were announced at The Brewery, London, yesterday (Wednesday March 4).
