Netherton man arrested following early hours incident in Stourbridge
A NETHERTON man has been arrested on suspicion of theft, dangerous driving and assaulting a police officer.
The 21-year-old’s arrest follows an incident in Stourbridge High Street just after 2am this morning (Friday), when several reports of disorder were received and a man was injured after being hit by a car.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
West Midlands Police say enquiries are ongoing but have asked anyone who was drinking outside Lloyds bar in Stourbridge at the time of the incident to contact DS Leighton Shingles on 101.
