A DUDLEY school enjoyed an evening of music, singing and dancing to celebrate different cultures.
Sledmere Primary School hosted a multicultural evening on Friday March 20, organised by teacher Avi Basrai, who said: "I wanted to celebrate the cultural diversity within the school the and the local community."
Kicking off the evening was the Glee Club choir who sang a medley of songs including Rocking all over the World.
Talented youngsters then showed off their African drumming skills and year four pupil Amit Rajput impressed the crowd by playing his Dhol drum.
Girls from years five and six took part in a bhangra dance, closely followed by six teachers who performed a Gidha routine - a traditional Indian folk dance.
Ghabru Punjab De, a bhangra dance group also performed before inviting people to join them on the stage in a workshop to learn some moves to bring the evening to a close.
Headteacher Damien Ward said:" The children, staff and professional performers entertained us on a night none of us will ever forget."
