POLICE have released CCTV images of the anorak-wearing gunman who raided a Halesowen convenience store.
The man, who wore a ski mask and carried a gun in a messenger-type bag, walked into the One Stop store on Howley Grange Road and demanded money from the tills before ordering staff into the rear office, where he accessed the safe.
The drama unfolded at around 9.10pm on March 30, with the robber fleeing with the cash.
The offender is described as a white man, around 6ft tall, who wore a blue hooded anorak-style jacket, light blue jeans, dark gloves, a ski mask across his face, distinctive white and black trainers and carried a cross-body beige or green messenger or holdall bag.
DC Chris Dixon, from Dudley investigation team, said: “Thankfully no one was hurt during the robbery but the staff were shaken up by their ordeal.
“We want to hear from anyone who knows the person responsible.
“He carried a pistol in his bag and has made staff take him into the rear offices to empty the safe before he fled out of a fire exit."
Anyone who witnessed the robbery, recognises the offender or has information to help the police investigation should call Dudley Police Investigation Team on 101 or speak to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
