Netherton to get a taste of the Wild West
COWBOYS will be riding into Netherton for a day of wild-west fun.
Northfield Road will be awash with Stetsons and tassels on Saturday September 19 for the themed family fun day, which will run from 10am to 4pm.
Organised by the Netherton Regeneration Strategic Group, the free event will feature a host of entertainment including fair rides, line dancing and country and western singers.
Those brave enough can jump on the rodeo bull and there will also be a host of market stalls to browse.
To facilitate the event, Northfield Road will be closed between Halesowen Road and Recreation Street from 6.30am to 6pm.
Diversions will be in place and access to frontages will be maintained where safe to do so.
