GREGGS, the bakery food-on-the-go retailer has doubled the size of its store Dudley town centre store.

The bakery has taken over unit 12, which was adjacent to its existing shop in the Churchill Centre and completed a major refurbishment.

The new format means that shoppers can now dine in as well as take away food and drinks.

The store has agreed a new lease with London & Cambridge Properties (LCP), which owns and manages the shopping centre.

Rob Heald, retail asset manager for LCP, said: “We are thrilled that Greggs has confirmed its commitment to the Churchill Centre by doubling its space.

"When the unit became vacant, it quickly took the opportunity to undertake a comprehensive revamp with excellent new facilities for customers.”
