FAMILIES can enjoy a weekend of festive fun at a Christmas tree festival in Gornal Wood.
The free festival will run at Himley Road Methodist Church between November 27 and 29.
It will kick off on Friday at 6.30pm and visitors will be invited to look at the 18 trees on display, decorated by local groups and sister churches before enjoying seasonal refreshments and live music from David Langford.
On Saturday, there will be a craft fair from 2pm until 4.30pm and a special church service will take place on Sunday morning at 10.45am, which will include a performance from Red Hall School's choir.
Although all of the activities throughout the weekend are free of charge, the church will be accepting donations, which will be split between two charities.
The charities are High Flyers, which runs a centre for young adults with learning difficulties in Wombourne and Krasif Aid, a Christian charity based in Walsall that works with people of all faiths in Bulgaria, providing palliative and hospice care, children's homes and social work training.
