A DUDLEY teenager has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after two French bulldog puppies were stolen from an address in Wolverhampton.
The 17-year-old was taken in for questioning by police on January 27, alongside two 16-year-olds from Wolverhampton, but the teenage trio have since been bailed while police enquiries continue.
Officers from West Midlands Police are investigating the theft of the two white puppies which were taken from a property in Beccles Drive, Portabello, on January 22.
Detective Sergeant Nicki Addison from Wolverhampton CID, said: “Our enquires are on-going and we continue to appeal for anyone with information about the break-in and whereabouts of the puppies to come forward.
“The puppies were seven weeks old when they were stolen and are too young to be parted from their mother.”
Anyone with information on the incident, or if they have been offered the pups for sale, should call police on 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
