DUDLEY cadets are preparing for a mountainous challenge in aid of Help for Heroes.
As part of their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, five cadets from 347 (Dudley) Squadron have decided to raise as much money as possible for the charity.
They will head to Snowdonia National Park in August and spend four days walking a minimum of eight hours per day.
During the expedition, Rhys Morgan, Sam Wooldridge, Ryan Weaver, Adam Priest and Keiran Reid will walk more than 55 miles, submitting Glyder Fawr, Moel yr Ogof, Trum y Ddysgl and Mount Snowdon, whilst carrying all of their equipment and food.
The teens, aged 16 and 17, hope by completing the challenge they will raise £347 for the military charity.
