A DUDLEY charity shop has been transformed into a haven for vinyl and film enthusiasts.
The first floor of The Salvation Army charity shop in Dudley is now home to more than 20,000 vinyls, CDs, DVDs, musical instruments, video games and other entertainment industry collectibles.
Film fan Ray Smith, who works in the High Street shop, saw the sales of second-hand entertainment had increased of late, due to high demand.
With help from his partner and shop manager Julie Cook, he created a dedicated area to showcase donated items, including props from Braveheart, Casino Royal and Batman and also made a listening area by the till to allow customers to try out new music.
The new-look first floor space opened on Friday (May 13), while the downstairs area of the charity shop will continue to sell everything from clothes to small items of furniture.
Profits from sales contributes to the valuable work of The Salvation Army, which includes homelessness and addiction services, care for older people and support for adult victims of human trafficking.
