A TEENAGER is in a critical condition after being stabbed in Sedgley.

Emergency services were called to High Street at 6pm this evening (Sunday) and found the 18-year-old with a stab wound to the stomach.

He was airlifted to hospital where his condition is currently described as critical but stable.

An investigation is under way and officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the attack and has not yet come forward to get in touch as soon as possible.

No arrests have yet been made and the area has been cordoned off pending a forensic examination.
