DUDLEY Zoo is offering some animal magic to help people woo their sweetheart this Valentine’s Day.

The zoo has the purr-fect present in mind – a joint adoption for one of its newest couples – snow leopards, Margaash and Taïga.

Andrea Hales, the zoo's marketing manager, said: “The two snow leopards were introduced in December as part of an international breeding programme and hit it off immediately with head and nose rubbing and chuffing, which keepers report are all positive signs.

“They've also been spotted snuggling together on the platforms, so we’re hoping their budding romance will rub off on other couples.”

The limited edition 12 month adoption package is available from just £40 and includes a photo of the loveable big cats, a mini cuddly snow leopard toy, factsheet and a certificate.

There’s even an option to have a love note installed at their enclosure.

Other ways to melt hearts on February 14 include close animal encounters, keeper for a day experiences and even proposal packages.

All purchases actively support the zoo's vital conservation programmes and make a huge difference to endangered animals across the globe.
