POLICE found 14 large cannabis plants and two sacks of dried cannabis during a raid in Dudley.

The drugs were seized last week after officers executed a warrant at an undisclosed address in the town centre.

An investigation to find those responsible is on-going.

A spokesman for Dudley Police said: "We carried out the raid after receiving intelligence from the community.

"The information we receive from members of the public is often used to successfully detect and combat crime.

"If you are concerned about crime in your area, please tell us, your information is vital to the work we do.

"We will continue to respond to concerns and aim to intervene and prevent crime from taking place wherever possible."
