POLICE say the man who was stabbed in Netherton on Sunday night is now in a stable condition.
Officers were called to Halesowen Road just before midnight, following reports of a disorder near to Netherton Health Centre.
A 28-year-old man was found with a number of stab wounds and was taken to hospital, where he remains.
The road was cordoned off at its junction with Crossley Street for much of yesterday (Monday), while officers carried out forensic examinations at the scene and checked CCTV.

Detective Inspector Colin Mattinson from Force CID has urged witnesses and those with information that could assist the investigation, to contact police on 101.
