VISITORS to a Dudley opticians can pick up a pair of novelty glasses for Red Nose Day.
Specsavers is selling the comedy waving hand glasses for a minimum donation of £2 to raise money for Comic Relief.
The Castle Street opticians has joined Specsavers stores nationwide in a bid to raise £250,000 for the charity, which supports vulnerable and poverty-stricken people in the UK and Africa.
Gurdeep Dosanjh, store director, said: "The glasses are fantastic and we’ll be encouraging everyone who buys a pair to also join our giant Mexican wave on social media as well.
"Simply strike a pose with your glasses and post with #GiveUsAWave to receive your very own wave back."
The team will also be ditching their uniforms and turning up to work dressed in red on Saturday (March 18) and Red Nose Day (Friday, March 24) and are encouraging shoppers to drop by, join in the fun and help boost the fundraising total.
