POLICE are investigating after a body was found at a home in Dudley.
Residents reported seeing a flurry of police and ambulance activity in Highgate Road earlier today (Thursday) and West Midlands Ambulance Service has confirmed a patient was found dead at a residential address after medics were alerted at 11.42am.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “We attended to one patient who unfortunately was confirmed deceased.”
An ambulance and paramedic area support officer were dispatched to the scene, which has been taped off by police while forensic experts gather evidence.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said officers were still trying to establish the cause of death and identify the deceased.
