THERE will be fun for all the family at Netherton Park this weekend.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the free fun day, which will run from 10am to 5pm tomorrow (Saturday).

There will be children's rides, quad bikes, a giant inflatable slide, more than 50 classic car on display and stalls selling bric-a-brac, crafts and jewellery for visitors to enjoy.

Dudley Zoo and Brockswood Animal Sanctuary will also be there with a host of animals to see and West Midlands Fire Service will be heating things up with regular chip pan fire demos.

In addition to the usual burgers and chips, there will be a variety of Thai, Indian and Caribbean food on offer for visitors to enjoy.

An outdoor stage will also be set up behind Netherton Arts Centre, with a variety of acts - including bands, dancers, cheerleaders and a karate group - set to perform until 9pm.

Event organiser, Richard Johnson, said: "I am sure it will be a great day again.

"This year will be the twelfth year we have put on the event with it growing year on year becoming the largest of is type in the area, providing a fantastic free event for both young and old alike."
