A BRIERLEY Hill pub has undergone a six figure makeover.
The Brierley Hop House, formerly known as Brewer's Wharf, will officially reopen at 1pm on Saturday, September 9, with the Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Dave Tyler cutting the ribbon.
Thanks to the £200,000 refurbishment, The Waterfront pub is boasting a completely new look and will focus on serving a selection of ales, wines and cocktails and will have everything from small grazer dishes to classic pub meals on the menu.
Sarah O’Donoghue, who will be running the pub, has also partnered with Dudley Council to advise on the new DY5 project, which focuses on the regeneration of the Waterfront area for social and business purposes.
She said: “The transformation of the Brierley Hop House is very exciting and being a local girl myself, I am enthusiastic about the next chapter here.
"We will be focussing on the community and building relationships with local sport teams, charity groups and businesses and plan to host live music nights, charity events and parties in our updated function room.”
