A THOUGHTFUL six-year-old has helped to raise more than £100 for The Royal British Legion.
Harry Johnson, a member Stamberhill Beavers, will be taking part in his second Remembrance Day parade in Lye on Sunday.
During a recent shopping trip, the Withymoor Primary School pupil approached a veteran selling poppies and proudly told him about the parade.
The youngster, who lives in Palm Croft, Brierley Hill, then asked if there was anything he could do to help.
Harry's mum, Gemma Johnson, said: "The man, Bob Clark, gave Harry a new box of pin badges and asked him to raise as much as he could.
"Harry took this very seriously and upon getting home, he rushed upstairs to put on his army uniform and set out a table on our drive."
She continued: "Many of our friends and family, including Harry's school friends, have been to show their support and have helped Harry to raise £135.
"Harry is very proud of what he has done. He also had a little help from twin sister Olivia."
