JOBS are at risk at The Alan Nuttall Partnership in Dudley.
Redundancies are on the cards at the Hall Street firm, which specialises in shop fittings and displays, as savings must be made according to managing director, Nino Calandra.
A consultation process started yesterday (Tuesday), although bosses say they hope to avoid redundancies where possible by repositioning people elsewhere within the business.
Mr Calandra told the News that whilst part of the firm was "very profitable", there were some areas of the organisation which were "less so or non-profitable", adding: "We will need to find cost savings across the organisation as a whole."
He continued: "As an employee owned partnership, the support of our partners and safeguarding of all jobs is our key priority.
"However, there are times when we, like any business, will need to react to the changes in our customer base, to maintain a sustainable partnership.
"We are at an early stage of considering numerous costs saving options, of which operational changes may play a role."
Mr Calandra added: "Without insight from a fuller consultation, it is impossible to comment further on which strategies will be implemented, or how business areas may be affected.
"We greatly appreciate the continued hard work of our partners and the support of the local community, as we strive to remain a key employer in the Black Country and wider Midlands region."
