DUDLEY Society of Artists is looking for models to pose for its weekly portrait group.

Models will sit fully clothed during the two hour session and receive £15 for their trouble.

The group meet at Castle High School in St James Road, Dudley, at 7pm on Wednesdays.

The group is also on the lookout for new members who wish to develop their skills.

The annual membership fee is £20.

Greg Pike, the group's treasurer, said: "Members have a choice on regular society evenings to either participate in a portrait session with a live sitter or ‘do their own thing’ in one of the other classrooms.

"There’s plenty of support and advise on hand from other members if required.

"We also have a varied annual programme of demonstrations and workshops where once a month we will have a visiting artist.

"Members pay either £2 or £4 each week depending on whether its a regular or demonstration session they are attending.

"We also have various exhibitions throughout the year for members to showcase their work should they wish."

Anyone interested in modelling for the group or becoming a member should email dsoa.enquiries@yahoo.com or get in touch via the group's Facebook page Dudley Society of Artists.
