VANDALS damaged a police car while it was parked in Fens Pool Nature Reserve.
The squad car was left unattended for around an hour yesterday (Thursday, April 19), while officers carried out a foot patrol around the Pensnett beauty spot.
When the officers returned at around 4.30pm, they found that three of the wheel arches had been bent and there were footprints on the vehicle.
The car is now off the road and the value of the damage is currently unknown.
Inspector Ian Barton from Dudley Neighbourhood Team said: “This type of behaviour will not detract from our commitment to work with the community and partner agencies to improve the Brockmoor and Pensnett area."
Anyone with information is asked to call West Midlands Police on 101 giving crime reference 20DY/86648M/18.
