DUDLEY Primary Care Trust’s Expert Patient Programme will be a holding its annual reunion on Friday.
The Expert Patient Programme is a free course for people with long-term illnesses and health conditions with its aim to teach people new skills to manage their conditions.
The event, which takes place on July 10, in the Great Hall at Dudley College, is open to everyone and will include a range of health promotion displays as well as activities such as Mendhi.
The Mayor of Dudley, councillor Pat Martin, as well as a number of voluntary and community organisations, will be joining in with celebrations to mark the work of the programme and the contribution it has made to many peoples lives in the Borough.
Clare Evans, Programme Manager for Expert Patients said “This celebration is a great way for people to gain an insight into the Expert Patient Programme and the benefits it has for people with long term conditions.
