A 20-YEAR-old man has been handed a conditional discharge by Dudley Magistrates Court after knowingly assisting a child to stay away from the responsible person.
On July 6, Lee Dean Bowers, of Middlepark Road, Russells Hall, was handed the 12 month conditional discharge as well as being ordered to pay £70 by Dudley Magistrates.
Also in court on July 6: Ronald Clifford Cooksey, aged 61, of Vicarage Prospect, Dudley, was fined £150 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £70 court costs for being drunk and disorderly at Russells Hall Hospital.
The defendant was also ordered to pay £150 compensation for assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty.
In court on July 7: Jonathon Graham Binfield, aged 26, of Yorkdale Close, Lower Gornal, was disqualified from driving for 18 months, fined £215 and ordered to pay £70 court costs and £15 costs for driving over the legal alcohol limit.
The defendant was also fined £215 for driving without insurance.
Elaine Salter, aged 46, of Crescent Avenue, Brierley Hill, was jailed for four weeks for assault a police officer in the execution of her duty.
Bruce William Taylor, aged 44, of Heath Road, Netherton, was jailed for 18 weeks for breaching a restraining order.
Freeblade Limited, Golden Oriental, Louise Street, Lower Gornal, was handed a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £295 for failing to keep clean structures and surfaces to prevent the accumulation of mice droppings.
The defendant was also handed a 12 month conditional discharge for failing to store raw materials to protect them from contamination.

Sharon Groves, aged 38, of Nelson Road, Dudley, was fined £150 and ordered to pay £295 costs and £15 costs for failing to secure regular attendance at school of a registered pupil.
Catherine Mochan, aged 48, of Blewitt Street, Pensnett, was handed a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £245 costs for failing to secure regular attendance at school of a registered pupil.
Kerry Slater, aged 34, of Bankwell Street, Pensnett was handed a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs for failing to secure regular attendance at school of a registered pupil.
Margaret Elizabeth Westwood, aged 64, of Dingle View, Sedgley, was disqualified from driving for 16 months, fined £250 and ordered to pay £70 court costs and £15 costs for failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
Stuart Michael Rose, aged 45, of Summer Lane, Lower Gornal, was handed a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £70 court costs for common assault.

Joanne Steventon, aged 37, of Fisher Street, Brierley Hill, was disqualified from driving for six months and was ordered to pay £70 court costs.
Adam John Smith, aged 20, of Columbus Avenue, was handed a two year community order and was ordered to pay £60 court costs for cultivating a number of plants of the genus cannabis.
The defendant was also handed a two year community order for using electricity without authority.
He was also handed a two year community order for failing to surrender to custody.
The defendant was also disqualified from driving for 12 months handed a two year community order and ordered to pay £60 court costs for aggravated vehicle taking.

In court on July 9: Nicola Lucas, aged 29, of Blackhorse Lane, Brierley Hill, was handed a six month conditional discharge for assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
In court on July 10: Liam Scott Hedley, aged 23, of St Johns Road, Kates Hill, was jailed for four weeks for shoplifting.
The defendant was also jailed off two weeks consecutive to the above for failing to surrender to custody.
He was also jailed for four weeks for going equipped for theft with a screwdriver.
Robert James Fairclough, aged 58, of Fir Street, Sedgley, was handed an absolute discharge and handed three licence penalty points for speeding.
Larry Glyn Hampshire, aged 59, of Edward Street, Dudley, was handed a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 compensation and £100 court costs for assault by beating.
