Man jailed for paddling pool theft

A 31-YEAR-old Dudley man has been jailed by Dudley Magistrates after stealing a paddling pool.

On July 18, Pravin Luke Patel, of Bourne Street, was jailed for 12 weeks concurrent, for stealing the £24.99 pool, from B and M.

The defendant was also jailed for 12 weeks for breaching an ASBO.

In Dudley Magistrates Court on July 13: Hermi Christian Bri, aged 21, of Malvern Crescent, Holly Hall, was fined £65 for failing to stop a car after being required to do so by a constable.

The defendant was also fined £35 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £60 court costs for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.

He was also fined £100 and disqualified from driving for six months for driving without valid insurance.

In court on July 14: Craig Adam Poole, aged 23, of Lodge Crescent, Netherton, was jailed for two weeks consecutive, for stealing 40 gallons of diesel worth £50.

The defendant was also handed six licence penalty points for driving without valid insurance.

He was also jailed for two weeks concurrent for possessing a quantity of cannabis.

Nathan Rann, aged 26, of Lodge Crescent, Netherton, was handed a 12 month supervised community order and ordered to pay £87 court costs, for stealing 40 gallons of diesel worth £50.

Louise Nicole Parker, aged 19, of Marmion Grove, Dudley, was handed a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £200 court costs for assault.

Stokes Forgings Dudley Ltd, Cochrane Road, Dudley, was fined £2500 and ordered to pay £4103.20 costs and £15 costs for contravening health and safety regulations.

The company was also fined £2500 for contravening health and safety regulations.

Ben William Roberts, aged 19, of Forest Road, Dudley, was fined £300 and ordered to pay £75 costs and £15 costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 18 months, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.

In court on July 15: Bonita Biggerstaff, aged 51, of Harley Grange, Dudley, was handed a two year ASBO and fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £87 court costs, for being drunk and disorderly in a public place.

Sarah Ann Kelly, aged 31, of Grange Road, Dudley, was jailed for 14 days consecutive to a term currently being served, for dishonestly making a false representation to obtain cash.

Ben Robert Delves, aged 22, of Highfield Road, Dudley, was handed a 12 month conditional discharge for stealing £103.24 worth of items from Tesco.

Patricia Winship, aged 50, of Wealdstone Drive, Lower Gornal, was handed an 18 month supervised community order and ordered to pay £100 court costs, as well being disqualified from driving for 30 months, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.

In court on July 16: Jason Kevin Wheeler, aged 18, of Stourbridge Road, Holly Hall, was committed to a youth offenders institution for six weeks consecutive, for possessing an offensive weapon.

The defendant was also sent to a youth offenders institution for four weeks concurrent, for failing to surrender to court.

In court on July 17: Amy Louise Sutton, aged 23, of Western Avenue, Brierley Hill, was handed a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £3.99 compensation and £87 court costs, as well as being handed a two year ASBO for stealing a cleaning set from Home Bargains.

Stephanie Louise Bailey, aged 20, of Blewitt Street, Brierley Hill, was fined £300 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £70 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 19 months, for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.

The defendant was also handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £200 compensation and £360 compensation, as well being disqualified from driving for 19 months.
