THIRTY jobs have been created in Dudley town centre as Home Bargains opens its doors.
The store, known for its top brands and low prices has invested £450,000 into the new shop, which opened in the Churchill Shopping Centre on Saturday.
Home Bargains is currently bucking the trend as other retailers desert the high streets, with plans to open 30 stores across the UK in the next six months - including one in Stourbridge town centre.
Shoppers can get their hands on the latest bargains, including health and beauty, household, sweets and snacks, home style and drinks and alcohol.
Joe Morris, operations director at Home Bargains, said: “Home Bargains is thrilled to be opening a brand new store in Dudley.
“We’re really excited to be expanding our network in the West Midlands and offering even more people in the region great products at exceptionally low prices.
“Dudley will be a great location for us.”
The new addition to the shopping centre is the latest development by Churchill owners Pensett based London and Cambridge Properties, which has invested £4 million on refurbishment since buying the 1960s centre 15 years ago.
