Witness appeal after Baggeridge hit and run

AN 18-YEAR-OLD man was mowed down in a hit and run incident near to Baggeridge Country Park yesterday (Saturday February 6).

The teenager from Wolverhampton was hit by what was believed to be a gold Vauxhall Zafira on the entrance road to the Sedgley park at around 1.30pm.

But the car failed to stop at the scene.

The teenager was taken to Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley, and police have now launched an urgent appeal for witnesses.
