A 23-YEAR-old Dudley man has been jailed after stealing £190 worth of chocolate eggs.

Appearing at Dudley Magistrates Court on February 6, Liam Patrick Edwards, of Stourbridge Road was jailed for 10 weeks, for stealing a quantity of electrical equipment worth £289.88 from Sainsburys.

The defendant was also jailed for 10 weeks concurrent, for stealing a quantity of chocolate eggs to the value of £37.04 from Tesco Express.

He was also jailed for 10 weeks concurrent, for stealing a further quantity of chocolate eggs to the value of £23.04 from One Stop and a further 10 weeks concurrent, for stealing more chocolate eggs to the value of £130 from Spar.

He was also jailed for 10 weeks concurrent, for going equipped for theft with a pen knife.

In court on February 1: Ricki Junior Wilson, aged 18, of Wrens Nest Road, Dudley, was sent to a young offenders institution for 16 weeks, and disqualified from driving for 18 months, for dangerous driving.

The defendant was also sent to a young offenders institution for two weeks concurrent, for possessing cannabis.

He was also sent to a young offenders institution for four weeks concurrent, for driving over the legal alcohol limit.

Kain Thomas Houghton, aged 21, of Merryfield Road, Russells Hall, was handed a two year conditional discharge, and ordered to pay £135 court costs, for possessing cannabis.

Ashley Paul Johnson, aged 19, of Gibbons Hill Road, Sedgley, was handed a six month conditional discharge, and ordered to pay £200 compensation and £100 court costs, for racially aggravated criminal damage.

In court on February 2: Reehan Ahmed, aged 20, of Brewery Street, Kates Hill, was handed an 18 month conditional discharge, and ordered to pay £258 compensation, as well as £135 court costs, for fraud by false representation.

Nathan Rann, aged 26, of Lodge Crescent, Netherton, was jailed for 20 weeks, for driving while disqualified, on January 29.

The defendant was also jailed for 20 weeks concurrent, for driving while disqualified, on January 21.

He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months, for driving without insurance.

The defendant was also jailed for 20 weeks forthwith concurrent with the above, for driving while disqualified, on January 14.

Matthew John Paskin, aged 39, of Church Street, Netherton, was jailed for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay £85 court costs, for stealing packs of meat worth £10, from Tesco Express.

In court on February 3: Dennis Machingura, aged 31, of Taylor Road, Netherton, was fined £115 and ordered to pay £15 costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for six months, for driving without insurance.

Peter William Birch, aged 43, of Withern Way, Gornal, was fined £45 and ordered to pay £15 costs, as well as being handed three licence penalty points, for speeding.

Carlon Willoughby Brooks, aged 39, of Frome Close, Dudley, was fined £350 and ordered to pay £60 court costs and £15 costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

The defendant was also fined £175, for driving without a valid test certificate.

David Martin Allchurch, aged 41, of Williams Street, Brierley Hill, was handed a 12 month community order, and ordered to pay £85 court costs, for producing cannabis.

Rachael Lucy Tart, aged 25, of Stourbridge Road, Dudley, was handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £50 court costs, for possessing a knife in a public place.

The defendant was also handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £250 compensation, for assaulting a police officer.

In court on February 4: Richard Mark Sidaway, aged 23, of Tiled House Lane, Pensnett, was jailed for 16 weeks and handed a 12 month restraining order, for assault.

The defendant was also jailed for four weeks concurrent for destroying a £20 mobile telephone.

Hassan Mohammed Shaw, aged 21, of Selbourne Road, Dudley, was fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and £15 costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 12 months, for failing to stop after a road accident.

The defendant was also fined £425, for driving without valid insurance.

He was also fined £200, for driving a vehicle he was not licensed to drive.

Tracey Cartwright, aged 32, of Ivanhoe Street, Dudley, was handed a 12 month community order and ordered to pay £50 costs, for failing to secure regular attendance at school of a registered pupil.

Natalie Bodycote, aged 24, of Walters Row, Dudley, was handed a 12 month community discharge, and ordered to pay £150 costs, for failing to notify about a change of circumstances with regard to Social Security.

Angela Suzanne Robinson, aged 30, of Larkspur Road, Dudley, was handed a two year community discharge and ordered to pay £50 costs, for making a false statement to obtain benefits, between December 1 2007 and December 22 2008.

The defendant was also handed a two year community discharge and ordered to pay £50 costs, for making a false statement to obtain benefits, between December 1 2007 and December 18 2008.

In court on February 5: John Terrence Seymour, aged 59, of Corbyn Road, Russells Hall, was handed a 12 month community order, for harassment without violence.
