DUDLEY Council has frozen the rent for stalls at Dudley Market during the coming year.
Councillor Tim Wright, cabinet member for human resources, law and governance, said: “We are mindful of the current economic climate and by not increasing stall rents we can ensure they remain amongst the lowest in the Midlands. “The market is in a great town centre location and is an excellent place to trade. Shoppers who regularly visit the market do so because they know they get value for money and great service from our traders.”
The council is also offering half price rent on centre aisle stalls for new traders looking to sell their wares in the town market.
