TALENTED young singers from a Dudley primary school choir have raised more than £100 for a borough hospice.

Jesson’s Primary School’s Jubilate choir raised the money during a 50 minute performance at Dudley’s Tesco extra supermarket.

The musical children entertained shoppers with a collection of chart-topping songs including Adele’s Rolling in the Deep, Stevie Wonder’s Superstition and Take That Kidz on April 20.

The money raised will go towards Compton Hospice.

Headteacher, Lucy Griffiths, said: “'We were very pleased with the reception we got from the staff and customers of Tesco and the children enjoyed themselves immensely, they also enjoyed the cookies and gifts from the store.”
