Spring fair to raise funds for Upper Gornal church

AN Upper Gornal church will be going all sporty next week when it hosts its spring fair.
St Peter’s Church in Kent Street will be hosting the fundraising event on Saturday, May 19 from 10.30am until 2pm in aid of church funds.
Visitors can browse a number of stalls, including books, cakes, plants, bric a brac, chocolate, gifts, cards, CDs and games.
There will also be raffles and tombolas, as well as refreshments and lunches.
