TODDLERS from Woodside Children’s Centre are urging borough youngsters to join them in the annual Barnardo's Big Toddle.

This year the fundraising event takes on a super hero theme and under fives are invited to grab their capes and masks and take flight to join in the fun at Dudley Zoo.

The Barnardo’s Big Toddle is a short sponsored walk which is taking place on June 12,13,14 and 21.

So far 1,400 youngsters have signed up to the challenge, with more than 3,000 expected to take part over the four days.

All the money raised from the events helps Barnardo’s support 26,000 children, young people and their families affected by poverty, abuse, disability and serious illness.

Pauline Clark, Barnardo’s Midland fundraiser, said: “It really is a simple fun way for young children to play a major role in helping us turn lives around.”
