Health volunteers thanked for their dedication

DUDLEY health experts have thanked volunteer tutors for their hard work and commitment throughout the year in helping residents cope with long-term health conditions.

The Dudley Public Health Expert Patients Programme team held the special event at Cafe Grande in Dudley last night, to acknowledge their Expert Patients Programme tutors.

The tutors, who are all volunteers, provide tireless help and support to Dudley residents living with long-term illnesses, by running free six-week courses helping them be more in control of their health.

Clare Evans Expert Patients Programme Manager said: “We wanted to say a huge ‘thank you’ to the volunteers for all their hard work, they are treasured members of the department and our work could not hope to be achieved without them all”.
