Netherton crash leaves vehicle on roof

A VEHICLE came to rest on its roof after a collision with a lamppost in Netherton this morning.
West Midlands Fire Service was called to the incident on Knowle Hill Road at nine minutes past midnight today (Saturday August 11).
One occupant of the vehicle had been thrown clear during the impact while another was trapped inside the vehicle and was cut free by firefighters.
Both people were taken to hospital for further assessment and treatment.
