Black Country Society to hold first meeting of the season

THE first lecture of the winter season of the Black Country Society is set to take place later this month.

The meeting at the Black Country Living Museum will take place on Wednesday September 26 at 7.30pm.

The speaker will be John Pittwood who will speak on the Life of Mary McArthur – the heroine of the female chainmakers. Non Society members are welcome.

Entrance is £1.50 which includes light refreshments.
