Get crafty at new Dudley arts venue

A NEW arts venue has opened in Dudley town for creative craft workshops.

Artspace Dudley has taken over an empty retail unit in King Street and Dudley Council’s adult and community learning team will be providing a variety of art workshops for adults and families, including watercolours, creative art, jewellery making and cupcake design.

Councillor Khurshid Ahmed , cabinet member for libraries and adult learning, said: “Artspace brings art workshops and exhibitions right into the heart of our town centres and brings fresh life into empty retail space. The workshops provide a great opportunity to try out a variety of arts related subjects.”
