I live in Stourbridge with my partner and two children, a dog, a cat and a constantly changing number of fish.

I work as a journalist at the News Group in Stourbridge with responsibility for the Dudley News, having recently moved on a football-style free transfer after nearly nine years on the Stourbridge News.

I always wanted to be a reporter and it took something special to divert me from my goal, a chance to pursue my other passion – music. When the chance came to become a guitar technician and tour the world with rock bands I couldn’t resist. I spent about 15 years doing that, meeting amazing people, making fantastic friends and playing a part in some breath-taking gigs.
