THE Community Players at Hawbush are gearing up to present another rip-roaring comedy.
Big Bad Mouse by Phillip King and Falkland Cary will run at The Oakfield Centre (formerly Hawbush Community Centre), Brettell Lane, Hawbush, Brierley Hill, from Wednesday March 5 to Saturday March 8.
The play, set in the 1960s in a sleepy factory office, centres on domineering and pompous Mr Price-Hargreaves and his shy and downtrodden assistant Mr Bloome whose popularity with female colleagues skyrockets after he is accused of making overly amorous advances to a young woman in a public park.
However - when his alleged victim realises her error in identifying him as the perpetrator he becomes desperate to keep her quiet.
Performances start at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £7 (concessions £5) and they are available on 01384 394349.
