POLICE are appealing for information after prescription drugs were stolen from a Black Country business this week.
Officers were called to a warehouse on a Brierley Hill industrial estate at around 9am on Monday (January 19) following reports of a burglary.
It is believed that thieves broke into the lock up and stole a car and a locked safe containing the prescription drugs.
Drugs stolen included diamorphine, fentanyl, morphine capsules, oxycodin, dextomoramide, dipipanone and tamazipan.
The stolen vehicle was found near High Street, Pensnett, yesterday (Tuesday January 21), and is currently being forensically searched.
Anyone who has been offered the drugs or has information about the theft, should call West Midlands Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555111.
