AS the football season draws to a close, borough teams will start to prepare for next year’s winter training sessions.
Bookings are now being accepted for winter training slots, which run from September to March, at the Dudley Council run Dell Stadium.
The Brierley Hill facility includes quarter size artificial football pitches which can accommodate up to 20 people and are available to adult or junior sports clubs or groups of friends.
Councillor Khurshid Ahmed, cabinet member responsible for leisure centres, said: “Although winter feels like a long way away it will be here before we know it.
“The winter training sessions are always popular so I encourage teams to pre book their slots now to ensure that they have somewhere ready for when the dark nights arrive.”
Prices start from £18 per hour, and include floodlights, with discounts available on 5pm sessions.
