BRIERLEY Hill Civic Hall will be hosting a Bostin' Tay Party to bring together the community and showcase facilities available at the venue.
Dudley Council for Voluntary Service took over the day to day running of the Bank Street building earlier this year and is now keen to encourage groups and organisations to make greater use of it.
Anyone over 18 is invited to attend the Tay Party taking place from 4.30pm till 10pm on Friday September 25 and from midday to 8pm on Saturday September 26.
The event will feature music by local artists, plus food provided by Craig’s Deli of Brierley Hill High Street and Dudley-based East Meets West Catering plus a selection of local ales and soft drinks.
Dudley CVS chief officer, Andy Gray, said: "As a charity ourselves, are are very keen to share the civic with other local voluntary organisations and charities and we think Bostin' Tay Party is a way of bringing the community together and showing what the building has to offer.”
Entry to the event is £5 and the first drink is free.
