FOUR Black Country convenience stores were targeted by armed robbers in a series of raids on Sunday (October 27), police have confirmed.
The first incident happened at Premier Stores in Malvern Avenue, Lye, at around 7.30pm and was swiftly followed by a raid at the Wine Cabinet in Quarry Bank High Street just after 8pm.
A further incident happened at Kingsway Stores, Kingsway, Wollaston, just before 9.30pm and a final raid happened just before 10pm at The Rock Fryer in Hill Street, Brierley Hill, just before 10pm.
A police spokesman said a handgun was reportedly brandished in all four incidents but no-one was hurt.
