SIX staff members from Sainsbury's Amblecote store took part in a 14-mile sponsored walk across the Malvern Hills to raise money for their charity partner - the Brierley Hill-based Paul Ackrill Fund.
Nikki Lee, Laura Gardener, Michelle Woodward, Sam Pollock, Ben Stiff and Dawn Hill raised £521 for the charity after gaining sponsorship from store colleagues, family and friends.
It takes the total amount raised for the charity to more than £2,000 since the partnership was formed in July.
In addition, customer services manager Marie Cooney, Colleen Shakespeare, Dawn Wellings and store PR ambassador Julie Bate collected £331 from customers when they held a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support in store on October 2.
