THOSE looking for a job or a chance to increase their skills throughout Dudley borough are being invited to an event in Brierley Hill.
Dudley South MP Mike Wood is organising a job and skills fair between 2pm and 6pm on November 12 at Cable Plaza, in Waterfront West.
More than 40 companies and organisations will be represented at the event – many of whom will be recruiting or offering training opportunities.
Mr Wood said: “I helped organise jobs fairs when employed by other MP`s, therefore one of my priorities was to organise one once becoming an MP myself.
“This will be an opportunity for local employers to advertise themselves to the jobs market throughout Dudley South and beyond.
“I would like to personally thank the Dudley Disabled Learning Activities and Advice Centre who have kindly provided the venue for the afternoon. Both they and its trustee chairman Steve Daniels have been extremely helpful.”
The event is open for all members of the public interested in potential jobs vacancies or further training.
Companies wishing to take part and reserve a free stall should contact the MPs constituency office by calling 01384 913123.
