SPORTING legend Phil Tufnell is set to support a borough charity in April when he bring his own unique cricket tales to Dudley.
The celebrity personality, who is a current team captain on Question of Sport alongside rugby star Matt Dawson, will be guest speaker at the Mary Stevens Hospice Sportsman Dinner on Thursday April 14.
Including a three-course meal, the event is being held at The Copthorne Hotel, in Brierley Hill, where ‘Tuffers’ will entertaining the crowds with BBC Radio WM Presenter Paul Franks and Comedian Gary Marshall.
Sure to be a sell-out – as more than 200 tickets have already been snapped up – the event will donate all proceeds directly to the patient care funded by the hospice.
Tickets, priced at £50 per person for tables of eight or ten, or £55 for individual tickets, are available by calling the fundraising office on 01384 377778.
