SIX-year-old year old Henry Torrington had a haunting experience after being invited to a VIP Halloween lunch by Brierley Hill based restaurant Frankie & Benny's.

Henry, who lives in Halesowen and suffers from renal failure, enjoyed a hair-raising time thanks to the restaurant's close links with nationwide children's charity Rays of Sunshine which helps to grant wishes for seriously ill youngsters.

Rays of Sunshine attempts to brighten up the lives of deserving children like Henry and the charity helped to fulfill his wish of visiting Disneyland Paris.

The restaurant staged a series of spook-tacular children's activities, games and prizes and Alex Rowbottom, general manager at Frankie & Benny's Brierley Hill branch, said: "It was a pleasure to invite Henry and his family to join in the fun.

"The entire team really got behind the event by dressing up as their favourite creepy character and encouraging the customers to get involved as well.

"Our customers are mostly families with children and its great to be able to entertain them as well as helping to raise money for a cause we know they really care about."
