POLICE say there have been “no updates” to an unsolved Brierley Hill murder despite a nationwide appeal on Crimewatch.

Detectives from West Midlands Police want to speak to Niron Parker-Lee in connection with a stabbing outside Dixi Chicken diner in Brierley Hill High Street on October 15 2016, which left 24-year-old Brierley Hill man Mansoor Mahmood dead.

In November officers named 19-year-old Parker-Lee, also from Brierley Hill, as a key suspect and issued an appeal for information with a reward of £2,000 up for grabs.

But they have been unable to apprehend him.

It is thought he may be being harboured by someone.

Last night (Monday February 27) the case was featured on BBC’s Crimewatch show in a bid to help murder squad detectives in their pursuit of Parker-Lee who has been described as dangerous and not to be approached – and who has a large scar on his forehead and a tattoo of the word ‘mum’ on his right wrist.

He is known to have friends across the West Midlands and possibly in London but so far there have been “no updates” on his whereabouts, according to a West Midlands Police spokeswoman.

Anyone who has any information that could help the case is urged to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
