FIREFIGHTERS spent much of the night battling a blaze in Dudley which sparked a police drugs investigation.
Around 90 per cent of the Rickshaw indian restaurant on Porters Field was destroyed by fire, police were called after 999 crews found cannabis plants at the scene.
Five fire appliances and a hydraulic platform were dispatched to the incident which was reported at 1.23am this morning (November 7).
Firefighting operations continued until 6.19am, no-one was reported injured.
