COUPLES wanting a unique wedding experience in Dudley borough are being invited to see the rooms on offer at the historic Himley Hall.

Two open days are being held this month at the 18th century building where royal newlyweds once took their honeymoon and where princes and earls strolled the grounds.

The open days take place on Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16, between 5pm and 9pm.

They will feature specially decorated ceremony and reception rooms so that prospective brides and grooms can see exactly what their own wedding day could look like.

Leader of Dudley Council, Councillor Pete Lowe, said: “The open days will be a great opportunity for couples to see the fantastic rooms set out ready for their special day.

“Having a wedding a Himley is an experience that will give couples, their family and friends a day to remember.”

Wedding co-ordinators and catering managers will be available to discuss all the options available and to guide couples through the civil ceremony process at the hall.
