MEMBERS of the public are being invited to a meeting hosted by Dudley’s health chiefs to discuss local healthcare.

Dudley Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCG) next healthcare forum will talk on the topic ‘Turning the NHS upside– a bottom up approach’.

The meeting will help the CCG understand how they can improve healthcare in the borough to meet the public’s needs, as well as discovering what a perfect NHS would look and feel like, what works well and what does not and what matters most.

Dr Steve Mann, clinical executive at Dudley CCG, said “Local GPs and healthcare staff work really hard to help local people, but we know we don’t always get it right and there can be room for improvement.

“This is your opportunity to join us for an honest conversation about how healthcare works in Dudley, starting with when you need to see your GP.”

The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 17, between 4.30pm and 6.30pm, at Brierley Hill Civic Hall, in Bank Street.

Food and drink will be provided, meaning booking is essential. For more information, or to book a place, call Clare Hamilton on 01384 321764.
